Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husbands will, but born of God. John 1:12,13

What are the results of Jesus' death on the cross? "But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation." This is a marvelous truth with practical results. Because of Jesus' death on the cross, we who have been reconciled to God are holy, without blemish, and free from accusation.

Another prayer

You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Please God. Fix me mold me into what you desire for me to be. What you intended on me to become. I will not doubt or nor fear anything about my future. I know my life is in your hands.

Amen

Simply Heavenly Food: HOW CAN I BE READY TO BE CAUGHT UP IN THE RAPTURE? → simplyheavenlyfood.tumblr.com

simplyheavenlyfood:

It is much simpler than you may think. The short answer is that you must receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, to save you from being punished for your sin. Now for the long answer. When you ask this question, we assume that you have heard or been told that not all Christians will be taken when…

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. Isaiah 59:2

sining is separated from God, constant sinning causes God to hide His face from us because He cannot look on sin. prayers stopped at the ceiling and then fall to the floor! Even though we professed to be a Christian, we are “darkened in my understanding and separated from the life of God” (Ephesians 4:18).

CHECK THIS OUT

21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation - 23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant. Col. 1:21-23

God takes action on our behalf. He “reconciled us by Christ’s physical body through death.” we are no longer His enemy; we are reconciled to God through the death of Jesus Christ. He does this, not us.

"Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, 'This is the way; walk in it.' God is the fountain of Living Water...

…to glorify we learn to drink exclusively from him…

Jeremiah 17:9 “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things,
      and  desperately wicked.
Who really knows how bad it is?

The heart of man is deceitful more so than all other things. relying on the heart cause you to rely on ones own flesh. the desires of flesh are not the desires of God. ex sex money drugs over eating etc. (no judgment, we all fall short.) Matthew 6:24”No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be  devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money. Since we depend on on our flesh we try to satisfy the void that are lying heart tell us we have with things of the world. we drink from a source that dose not satisfy.

However,  #Jesus offers us the sinner a new drink. Fresh water that will heal and fill the void never causing us thirst again.

John 4:7-30  7 Soon a Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, “Please give me a drink.” 8 He was alone at the time because his disciples had gone into the village to buy some food.

9 The woman was surprised, for Jews refuse to have anything to do with Samaritans.[a] She said to Jesus, “You are a Jew, and I am a Samaritan woman. Why are you asking me for a drink?”

10 Jesus replied, “If you only knew the gift God has for you and who you are speaking to, you would ask me, and I would give you living water.”

11 “But sir, you don’t have a rope or a bucket,” she said, “and this well is very deep. Where would you get this living water? 12 And besides, do you think you’re greater than our ancestor Jacob, who gave us this well? How can you offer better water than he and his sons and his animals enjoyed?”

13 Jesus replied, “Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. 14 But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.”

15 “Please, sir,” the woman said, “give me this water! Then I’ll never be thirsty again, and I won’t have to come here to get water.”

16 “Go and get your husband,” Jesus told her.

 17 “I don’t have a husband,” the woman replied.

Jesus said, “You’re right! You don’t have a husband—18for you have had five husbands, and you aren’t even married to the man you’re living with now. You certainly spoke the truth!”

19 “Sir,” the woman said, “you must be a prophet. 20So tell me, why is it that you Jews insist that Jerusalem is the only place of worship, while we Samaritans claim it is here at Mount Gerizim,[b] where our ancestors worshiped?”

21 Jesus replied, “Believe me, dear woman, the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans know very little about the one you worship, while we Jews know all about him, for salvation comes through the Jews. 23 But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. 24 For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

25 The woman said, “I know the Messiah is coming—the one who is called Christ. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”

26 Then Jesus told her, “I Am the Messiah!”[c]

27 Just then his disciples came back. They were shocked to find him talking to a woman, but none of them had the nerve to ask, “What do you want with her?” or “Why are you talking to her?” 28 The woman left her water jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone, 29 “Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could he possibly be the Messiah?” 30 So the people came streaming from the village to see him.

Want to fill the wholes in your life. if you’re feeling lonely or like something or someone is missing. its because someone is. Jesus. Turn to him. His water Provides eternal life. He will quench the thirst that does not seam to go away. On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, John 7:37 & 38“Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! 38Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart. reference JOHN 3:16

The bible is the Word of God. John1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was Go. Drinking the Word comes from reading listening and applying it to your own life. the bible is true refreshment. in drinking the Word the soul will delight. hence we are given life. And if we live a life drinking only from him the fruit we bear as now believers will be of great taste, taste that is pleasing to God. Honoring him.

John 4:28 Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, 29 “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?” 30 They came out of the town and made their way toward him.

The Samaritan woman left the jar behind. meaning she left her past. her sin her own desires of flesh because now she was satisfied with new fresh water. Now that she was save she wanted to share the one who satisfied her thirst. also glorifying Jesus.

TRUE REFRESHMENT COMES  FROM GOD

 AMEN
